SNAP/Food Stamps

 

Food Stamps are now called Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

SNAP/Food Stamps are a benefit that you can use to buy food at supermarkets, grocery stores, and some restaurants and senior meal programs.  SNAP/Food Stamps are for single people and for families.  You can apply for them at your local Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) office.
